As mentioned last week in our podcast desctiption text, and on our Twitter account, The Chapter Titles Were So Good is taking a brief summer vacation.
We understand that the lack of any new episode yesterday has caused quite a bit of distress and no small amount of emotional trauma. For this we are deeply sorry, but we assure you that our absence was unavoidable.
As you are no doubt aware, The Peter, Regular Tom, and Mr. Tom are required to spend a certain amount of time every year in Little Whinging, Surrey. This is a vital component of the mysterious charm set in place many years ago by Albus Dumbledore to protect our podcast from Lord Voldemort.
Unfortunately our hosts at Number Four, Privet Drive have a long-standing rule which forbids any discussion of magic under their roof. Naturally, this renders the recording of The Chapter Titles Were So Good impossible. Instead, we pass the time playing Crash Team Racing on the Dursleys’ PlayStation. Sadly we must take turns, as there are three of us and only two controllers. Still, we count ourselves lucky that the machine works at all, for it looks as though it has been thrown out of a second story window.
But we digress. Please be assured that this lapse in service is temporary, and that regular weekly episodes will resume in August.
For the moment, content yourselves with revisiting our episode archive. Each episode of our podcast is, of course, available for individual download. If you prefer to download in bulk, each book is available as an mp3 album or iTunes audiobook. All of this, of course, is available to you completely free of charge.
And while we have your attention (if indeed we still have it), we humbly request that you visit our listing in the iTunes store and leave a review of our podcast. We hope to improve our frankly pitiful standing in their marketplace, and cannot do this without your assistance.
Finally, please do recommend our show to any friends, relatives, colleages and co-conspirators who enjoy Harry Potter, podcasts, or both. Your word of mouth is our lifeblood. Without it we cannot find new listeners, nor can new listeners find us.
With fond gratitude and grateful fondness,
Looking forward to August,
The Faculty And Staff of
The Chapter Titles Were So Good
